Common use of Coffee Breaks Clause in Contracts

Coffee Breaks. There shall be a fifteen (15) minute break in the first half of the regular work shift. The coffee break period will be between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. Any deviation from this time period necessitated by work assignment must be approved by the employee's supervisor. The coffee break may be taken in a restaurant, provided that the employee is within one-half (1/2) mile of the restaurant at the time the coffee break period begins.
