Common use of COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 Clause in Contracts

COBRA (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985. Once an employee who has enrolled in a plan under the Health Benefits Program becomes qualified for COBRA benefits, the District shall ensure that he or she is given the opportunity to continue coverage under the Health Benefits Program pursuant to COBRA in the manner prescribed by federal law.
