City-Wide Voluntary Reduced Work Week. Employees in any classification, upon the recommendation of the appointing officer and subject to the approval of the Human Resources Director, may voluntarily elect to work a reduced week for a specific period of time. Such reduced work week shall not be less than twenty (20) hours per week nor for less than three (3) continuous months during the fiscal year. Pay, vacation, holidays and sick pay and any other benefits shall be reduced (computed proportionately) in accordance with such reduced work week.
