Certified Health & Safety Representatives. (a) The Company will ensure that each member of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (Company & Union), including alternates, is certified in accordance with the Workplace Health & Safety Agency and such training will be conducted through a Workers Health & Safety Centre. The Company will pay the cost of such certification. Employee members will be certified within first year of appointment. Employees will be re-certified as their certifications expire, provided that they are members of the JHSC at the time of such expiration.
