Common use of Career Enrichment Leave Clause in Contracts

Career Enrichment Leave. The Board may, in its sole discretion, grant a leave of absence, without pay or benefits, of up to one (1) year upon the written request of an employee. Such leave, if granted, shall be for the purpose of participating in a school program in another school district, state, territory or country. The work shall be related to the employee's professional responsibilities. The employee shall be guaranteed a position upon return.
