Candidates for promotion to Associate Professor with tenure must have at least six (6) years in the Assistant Professor rank, four (4) of which must have been at the University. Credit for prior experience, or any alternative probationary timeline, must be negotiated at the time of hire and included in the offer letter or initial FAP. Candidates for Full Professor must have at least four (4) years in the Associate Professor rank at the University and must meet the qualifications for such rank.
