Call Back Defined. After completing his/her normal work shift and leaving the workstation, an employee who responds to an authorized order to return to work to perform emergency or non-scheduled work shall be entitled to overtime. The minimum number of overtime hours to which the employee is entitled shall be two (2) hours at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2). Commuting time up to a maximum of one (1) hour shall be counted as time worked when the employee is called back.

Call Back Defined. When an off-duty employee has physically departed the worksite and is unexpectedly called back to duty for a period of time, which is not contiguous to his/her assigned work shift.
Call Back Defined. Call-Back is defined as a call to a bargaining unit member to return to work after the bargaining unit member has left the premises of the Hospital, and prior to the bargaining unit member's next scheduled shift. For purposes of this Article, the Hospital shall give notice by (1) reaching the bargaining unit member by telephone; or (2) attempting to reach the bargaining unit member by telephone and documenting the attempt, the date, time and the call, and the result of the attempt.

Call Back Defined. A call back occurs when an employee is requested or ordered to perform work on behalf of the District, and thereafter performs works during a non-regularly scheduled work shift. A call back commences upon receipt of the request or need to perform work on behalf of the District. A call back ends when the employee has completed the task and/or returned home. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding of call back pay for the same hours worked.
