Calculation of Teaching Experience. a) i) Effective January 1, 1998, only teaching time as a regular day school, elementary or secondary, public, reserve, or separate school Teacher in Canada (excluding occasional, continuing education and instructional Teachers) will be recognized as qualified teaching experience for salary schedule purposes. The onus is on the Teacher to provide the Board with satisfactory documentation prior to being placed at the appropriate step on the grid.
