Common use of CAISO Operating Orders Clause in Contracts

CAISO Operating Orders. Each Participating TO shall operate its transmission facilities in compliance with the CAISO Tariff, CAISO Protocols, the Operating Procedures (including emergency procedures in the event of communications failure), and the CAISO’s operating orders unless the health or safety of personnel or the general public would be endangered. Proper implementation of a CAISO operating order by a Participating TO shall be deemed prudent. In the event a CAISO order would risk damage to facilities, and if time permits, a Participating TO shall inform the CAISO of any such risk and seek confirmation of the relevant CAISO order.
