Common use of Bonus Leave Clause in Contracts

Bonus Leave. Employees who use forty (40) hours or less of sick leave during the year (based on their employment date), excluding up to three (3) consecutive days of sick leave used as bereavement leave, and excluding sellback of sick leave, shall be granted 24 hours of bonus leave. Bonus leave shall be forfeited if not used in the year it is accrued.
