Bill Pay Service. Seaside National Bank & Trust uses a non-affiliated third party acting on our behalf to process bill payments. This third party processor is required to adhere to the Bank’s strict standards of security and privacy protection. Paper checks processed by the non-affiliated third party may show that they are drawn on the third party processor rather than on Seaside National Bank & Trust. We will not be obligated to make a payment unless the designated account has sufficient funds to pay the bill on the payment dates. If the account is closed and there are pending payments, all pending payments associated with that account will be cancelled. Bank will not have any responsibility for such cancelled payments. We will not monitor the payments that are made through the bill payment service. If a business account is used to pay bills and a user pays bills which do not belong to the business, the business assumes the entire risk of loss and indemnifies and holds the Bank, Bank directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from all loss, liability, claims, demands, judgments, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with such use. You are responsible for furnishing all required information to add each Payee including name, address, phone number and account number. Additionally, you are responsible for entering the amount and the payment date for each payment request. Bank will not be responsible for validating any information supplied. There will be a delay between the date the payment is sent (payment date) and the date the payee receives that payment. Any payments made through the bill pay service require sufficient time for your payee to receive your payment and credit your account properly. You will be solely responsible for scheduling payments sufficiently in advance of the due date to avoid incurring finance or late payment charges. Xxxx pay instructions delivered through Internet Banking must be received prior to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time on a business day in order for payment to be issued on that business day. We will not be responsible for any finance charges, late fees or other costs imposed or any other action taken by a payee resulting from a payment that you have not timely or accurately scheduled. You agree to notify the Bank promptly if you receive a notice or otherwise have reason to believe that any bill payment made by you through Internet Banking was not completed or remains unpaid. To delete or modify a scheduled bill payment, you must use the “delete payment” option clearly marked on the Internet Banking website. INSTRUCTIONS TO DELETE OR MODIFY A BILL PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BY BANK AT LEAST ONE BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED PAYMENT DATE TO BE EFFECTIVE. We will not be liable if there are insufficient available funds or credit availability in the checking account at the time of any scheduled payment; if a legal order directs us to prohibit withdrawals from the account; if the account is closed or frozen; or if any part of the electronic funds transfer system outside of our control is not working properly. We will not be liable in any event for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the bill payment service.

This Bill Pay service allows you to make payments to merchants, companies or individuals from your TFCU checking account via the Internet. You can make one-affiliated third party acting on our behalf to process bill time payments as well as, set up recurring payments. This third party processor e-Bill services are also available for participating merchants. Fees may apply if the service is required not used, please refer to adhere our schedule of fees. In order to use the Bill Pay Service, you must accept the electronic Bill Pay closure and have a checking account. Bill Pay will become available immediately upon acceptance. THE BILL PAY SERVICE GUARANTEE Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Service, particularly delays in handling and posting payments by Billers or financial institutions, some transactions may take longer to be credited to your account. The Service will bear responsibility for any late payment related charges up to $50.00 should a payment post after its Due Date as long as the payment was scheduled payment; if in accordance with the guidelines described under "Payment Scheduling" in this Agreement. When the Service receives a legal order directs us Payment Instruction, you authorize the Service to prohibit withdrawals from debit your Payment Account and remit funds on your behalf so that the account; funds arrive as close as reasonably possible to the Scheduled Payment Date designated by you. You also authorize the Service to credit your Payment Account for payments returned to the Service by the United States Postal Service or Xxxxxx, or payments remitted to you on behalf of another authorized user of the Service. The Service will use its best efforts to make all your payments properly. Bill Pay Service. Seaside National Bank & Trust uses Use of a Third-Party Bill Pay Service Provider Metavante is the third-party bill pay service provider who the Credit Union has contracted with to provide the Payment Service to its Members. Metavante will be processing bill payments but the Credit Union will be answering questions directly related to these Member-initiated bill payments. The Credit Union, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to change service providers. Online Bill Pay Service By providing the Payment Service with the names and account information of those entities and/or persons to whom You wish to direct payment, You authorize the Payment Service to follow the Payment Instructions that it receives from You or Your authorized user through the Online Bill Pay Service. When the Payment Service receives a Payment Instruction, You authorize the Credit Union to debit Your Payment Account and remit funds on Your behalf so that the funds arrive as close to the Business Day designated by You as soon as reasonably possible. For this reason, it is necessary that all Payment Dates selected by You be no less than five (5) Business Days before the actual due date for payments that are being sent by check and three (3) days for ACH payments, (not the late date and/or a date in the grace period). It is Your responsibility to schedule Your bill payments in such a manner that Your obligations will be paid on time. Payment instructions entered after the Cutoff Time or on a non-affiliated third party acting Business Day will be considered entered in the Payment Service on our behalf the next Business Day. If You properly follow the procedures described herein and the Payment Service fails to process send a payment according to the Payment Instructions received, the Payment Service will bear responsibility for all late charges. In any other event, including but not limited to choosing a Payment Date which is not five (5) Business Days before the due date or on or past the due date stated on the invoice or bill, the risk of incurring and the responsibility for paying any and all late charges or penalties shall be borne by You. If You do not allow sufficient time, You will assume full responsibility for all late fees, finance charges or other actions taken by Xxxxx. A bill payment is "In Process" starting at the Cutoff Time on the business day prior to the Send On Date. A bill payment is a "Pending Scheduled Payment", starting from the time You enter Payment Instructions until the payment is "In Process." A bill payment is considered "Completed" on the Business Day You selected as the scheduled Payment Deliver By Date. You may cancel or edit any Pending Scheduled Payment (including recurring bill payments) by following the directions provided on the Payment Service Online Help. Please note: The Credit Union may not have a reasonable opportunity to adhere act on any stop payment or cancellation order given after a payment is "In Process", and it is not possible to stop or cancel a payment which is "Completed." In order to use Bill Pay, you must have a non-affiliated Greater Cincinnati Credit Union checking account.
