BIDS TO REMAIN OPEN. All bids shall remain open until such time as the Township has entered into a contract with the successful low bidder, or a period not to exceed sixty (60) days after the day of the bid opening. The Township, in its sole discretion, may release any bid and return the Bid Security prior to that date. Bid Security in the form of certified or cashier’s checks will be returned to all, except the three apparent lowest bidders within ten working days after the opening of bids, and to the three lowest bidders, within three working days after the accepted bidder has executed the contract. If no contract has been executed within sixty (60) days after the opening of bids, the amount of his/her proposal guarantee will be returned upon the demand of any bidder, provided that he/she has not been notified of the acceptance of his/her bid.
