Batch Calling Guidelines for All Work Lists. It is not always feasible, from a service standpoint, to match the incoming job with the next driver in line for a job on the work list. Batch calling during busy periods may be needed to assign a high volume of work requests. Batch calling will only be used when five (5) or more jobs are backlogged on a work list. The group of batch jobs must be assigned within the group of eligible drivers that correspond to the number of jobs. For example if there are five (5) jobs on the weekday overtime work list, the jobs would be offered to the five (5) most senior drivers with the least number of trip offers/declines but not necessarily in the specific order received.
