Basis for Filling Positions. Vacancies and new positions shall be filled on the basis of qualifications for the position. Seniority in the District shall determine the priority of applications for two equally qualified teachers. A non-selected teacher applicant for transfer to a vacant or new position shall have an opportunity to meet with the Superintendent to discuss the reasons for non-selection.
