Teacher Request Clause Samples

The Teacher Request clause outlines the process by which a teacher can formally submit a request or proposal within an educational or contractual context. Typically, this clause specifies the types of requests permitted—such as for resources, schedule changes, or special accommodations—and details the required format, submission method, and any deadlines involved. Its core function is to establish a clear and consistent procedure for teachers to communicate their needs or suggestions, thereby ensuring requests are handled efficiently and transparently.
Teacher Request. The teacher will complete a request form (Appendix 1) which shall be submitted on or before April 15, for consideration for the coming year.
Teacher Request. Teachers who desire to transfer to another school may file a written statement of such desire with the Superintendent no later than February 28. Such statement shall include the grade and/or subject to which the teacher desires to be transferred, in order of preference.
Teacher Request. Teachers who desire to transfer to another school shall file a written statement of such desire with their principal and the Superintendent. When a position becomes available the Superintendent shall give first consideration to teachers according to years of experience, educational qualifications and teacher evaluations. If the request is not granted, the Superintendent shall give a written response to the teacher stating reasons for the denial within seven (7) working days of denial.
Teacher Request a. A teacher may request a change of school, grade assignment, or both when such request is made in writing to the Superintendent. This request should be submitted as early in the year as possible. b. Upon request by the teacher, the Superintendent will furnish to the teacher the reason(s) why he or she was not selected for the position(s) which were specified in the transfer request. c. A list of known vacancies that will exist for the following year should be pasted in all schools so that the teachers may apply for open positions. This list should be kept up to date with new openings added as they occur. During the summer, this list will be kept posted in the office of the Superintendent.
