Common use of Authorized Representation Clause in Contracts

Authorized Representation. An authorized representative of the Union shall be allowed admission to any job at any time for the purpose of investigating conditions existing on the job. However, the representative shall as soon as possible make his presence known to the Employer's representative in charge of the work. On projects which are under military guard, the Employers will cooperate with the Union officials in this regard as far as regulations will permit. The Employer shall also notify the Union as promptly as possible of lost time accidents and shall furnish the Union with a copy of the Employer's accident report at the time such report is furnished to State of Alaska.
