Assistant Managers. Service Sta tion employees who have had experience at the trade, are held responsible for the operation of the station in the absence of the Manager, Lessee or Operator, and are capable of assisting the Manager, Lessee or Operator in maintaining station records and training program (excluding promo tion and/or disciplinary action of the em ployees) . He may be required to perform any and all duties of service employees and attendants.
Assistant Managers. Any assistant manager appointed by the Board shall have power to perform, and shall perform, all duties incumbent upon the Manager he or she is assisting, subject to the general direction of such Manager, and shall perform such duties as this Agreement may require or the Board may prescribe.
Assistant Managers. Employees who are left on, placed on, or taken off of the by mutual agreement between the Union and the Company. Employees wishing to come off the Float Staff must give thirty (30) days written notice to the Company with a copy to the Union. Should there be a suitable replacement available, this employee will be placed in a store at the discretion of the Company. The Union will be advised of the placements. The Company will determine the number of positions on the Float Staff and may adjust the numbers due to operational requirements. Should the Company reduce the number of employees on the Float Staff, the most junior employee will be the first to be removed.

Assistant Managers. An Assistant Manager will be allowed six days per annum of non-contact time for program preparation, administration, training, professional development or reading. One of these six days per annum may be taken as a ‘non-attending’ day. A non-attending day means that the staff member is not required to attend his or her normal place of work but may work or study at another location including other AEIOU centres, home, training facilities, etc. In addition, an Assistant Manager will be allowed one hour per week to attend room meetings.
