Arts / Craft Training and Skills development The service provider must provide a project plan with time-frames that must indicate arts/craft training; and artisan skills development components. The artisans’ skills development component must identify exhibition development skills which will be transferred to the local (Kouga) community. Included in the detailed project plan, must be a document outlining the process to identify individuals whom you will transfer arts/crafts; and artisan skills to, the manner/methodology you will use to transfer the skills to develop exhibitions. Included in the project plan should be the identification of artisan skills in the Eastern Cape. The project plan is subject to approval by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

  • SPECIAL SKILLS Five percent (5%) of the employees (not less than one person) to be laid off within a class within an agency shall be exempt from the seniority factor when the State determines that there is a need for special skills. “Special skills” refers to jobs difficult to fill with a replacement except after extensive training.
