Common use of Appointment Duration Clause in Contracts

Appointment Duration. Graduate Employees who are admitted to the University with an offer of support will be appointed for an academic or fiscal year rather than term-to-term. In the exceptional case that an appointment is made for a period less than the duration of the academic or fiscal year, the reason will be noted on the Graduate Employee’s Appointment Letter.
