Common use of Applicant Pre-Employment Testing Clause in Contracts

Applicant Pre-Employment Testing. All applicants will undergo drug and/or alcohol testing following a conditional offer of employment but prior to final hiring and assignment. Refusal to undergo a test, or a positive test, will result in the City withdrawing its conditional offer of employment. In addition, adulteration of a specimen or of a drug or alcohol test will be considered as a refusal to undergo a test.

In addition, adulteration of a specimen or of a drug or alcohol test will be considered as a refusal to undergo a test. Section 20 of this Article shall serve as such “Drug and/or Alcohol Testing Consent” form.
