Common use of Advancing Annual Leave Clause in Contracts

Advancing Annual Leave. 1. The granting of advanced annual leave by the Agency is discretionary. 2. To receive advanced annual leave, an employee must: a. have completed his/her probationary period; b. have served more than ninety (90) days in his or her current appointment; c. be eligible to earn annual leave; d. not be on a leave restriction letter; and, e. not request more advanced leave than would be earned during the remainder of the leave year in which the leave is requested.
