Common use of Adjustment of Seniority Date Clause in Contracts

Adjustment of Seniority Date. Approved unpaid leave will not result in a break in service, but will result in adjustment of an employee’s seniority date. When an employee is on leave without pay for more than eighty (80) hours in a calendar month, the employee’s seniority date will be moved forward in an amount equal to the duration of leave without pay, except as follows:
