Additional Sick Days Sample Clauses
Additional Sick Days. In the event a teacher expends his/her accumulated sick day total, he/she may acquire up to three (3) additional sick days. The teacher accessing these three days will be docked at an amount equal to the substitute’s pay for these three (3) additional days. These additional sick days shall not be accumulated.
Additional Sick Days. All unit A, B, C, and E members who are providing in-person instruction or services will be allocated an additional five (5) sick days added to their contractual allocation of sick days for the 2020-2021 school year only in order to encourage members to remain away from school if experiencing symptoms that could be COVID-19 or caring for household members who are experiencing symptoms that could be COVID-19. These days do not accrue or otherwise carry over. The sick days allocated for the 2020-2021 school year, including the additional five (5) days, may be used for either personal or family member illness.
