Additional Sick Days. All unit A, B, C, and E members who are providing in-person instruction or services will be allocated an additional five (5) sick days added to their contractual allocation of sick days for the 2020-2021 school year only in order to encourage members to remain away from school if experiencing symptoms that could be COVID-19 or caring for household members who are experiencing symptoms that could be COVID-19. These days do not accrue or otherwise carry over. The sick days allocated for the 2020-2021 school year, including the additional five (5) days, may be used for either personal or family member illness.
