Common use of Additional Certification and/or Recertification Clause in Contracts

Additional Certification and/or Recertification. 1) If additional FML is requested beyond the period supported by the certification previously provided or the circumstances of the leave have changed, the University may, at its sole discretion, require the Academic Researcher to obtain recertification. Such requests for subsequent certification and/or recertification shall be in writing. If certification and/or recertification is required, the Academic Researcher shall return the certification within fifteen (15) calendar days of the University’s request, where practicable.
