  • Accommodations of Spiritual or Cultural Observances Where an employee observes a cultural/spiritual day other than those listed above, the employee shall submit their request in January of each year for the twelve (12) month period following March 1st, identifying the required date they need off.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH LEGAL OBLIGATIONS Contractor shall procure and maintain for the duration of this Contract any state, county, city or federal license, authorization, waiver, permit, qualification or certification required by statute, ordinance, law, or regulation to be held by Contractor to provide the goods or services required by this Contract. Contractor will be responsible to pay all taxes, assessments, fees, premiums, permits, and licenses required by law. Real property and personal property taxes are the responsibility of Contractor in accordance with NRS 361.157 and 361.159. Contractor agrees to be responsible for payment of any such government obligations not paid by its subcontractors during performance of this Contract.

  • Contractor and Employee Security Precautions A. The security aspects of working at the Correctional Facility are critical. The following security precautions are part of the site conditions and are a part of this Contract. All persons coming on the site in any way connected with this Work shall be made aware of them, and it is the (General) Contractor’s responsibility to check and enforce them.

  • Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Vulnerable Adults The Supplier will comply with all applicable legislation and codes of practice, including, where applicable, all legislation and statutory guidance relevant to the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults and with the British Council’s Child Protection Policy, as notified to the Supplier and amended from time to time, which the Supplier acknowledges may include submitting to a check by the UK Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) or the equivalent local service; in addition, the Supplier will ensure that, where it engages any other party to supply any of the Services under this Agreement, that that party will also comply with the same requirements as if they were a party to this Agreement.

  • Cooperation on forestry matters and environmental protection 1. To achieve the objectives of the Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties may focus, as a means of cooperation and negotiations on concluding a bilateral agreement on forestry cooperation between the two Parties. Such collaboration will be as follows: (a) exchanges on science and technology as well as policies and laws relating the sustainable use of forest resources; (b) cooperation in training programs, internships, exchange of experts and projects advisory; (c) advice and technical assistance to public institutions and organizations of the Parties on sustainable use of forest resources and environmental protection; (d) facilitating forest policy dialogue and technical cooperation under the Network of Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Rehabilitation in Asia- Pacific Region, initiated at the 15th Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Meeting; (e) encouraging joint studies, working visits, exchange of experiences, among others; and (f) others activities mutually agreed.

  • Liability for Failure to Stop Payment of Preauthorized Transfers If you order us to stop payment of a preauthorized transfer three (3) business days or more before the transfer is scheduled and we do not do so, we will be liable for your losses or damages.
