The "ACA standards" clause establishes that certain activities, services, or operations must comply with the standards set by the American Correctional Association (ACA). In practice, this means that any procedures, facilities, or personnel referenced in the agreement are required to meet or exceed the guidelines and requirements outlined by the ACA, which may include aspects such as safety, security, staff training, and inmate care. ACA standards. The Employer recognizes the concerns of the counselors regarding the American Correction Association (ACA) standards on social services and agrees the standards are worthy goals to attempt to attain.
