Abuse of Leave. If it is found that a leave is not actually being used for the purpose for which it was granted, the Employer may cancel the leave and direct the employee to report for work by giving written notice to the employee. An employee who fails to return to duty within three (3) working days of the completion or a valid cancellation, as stipulated above, of a leave of absence without pay, shall be deemed to have resigned as of the date that the leave began.
