A THLETICS. Boys down for Athletics (which term includes all games) on any afternoon (including Saturday) are to attend unless regularly exempted by the School Doctor, or unless ill, or unless leave of absence has been granted by the Master concerned. Such leave of absence for any cause other than sudden illness, or bereavement, is to be asked in writing by the parent or guardian, of the Games Master, not later than two days before the afternoon concerned (e.g., on Thursday for Saturday).
