Common use of Subject Clause in Contracts

Subject. Allianz Trav el reimburses the sums paid by the Insured as a penalty for the cancellation or any changes in the booking defined by AIR FRANCE in the con- tract if the Insured has to cancel the trip due to one of the following documented reasons which are involuntary, and which may not be predicted whe n t he f light ticket is booked: a) disease, including being diagnosed with an epidemic or a pandemic disease such as COVID-19, accident or death. b) pregnancy disorders, if occurred after booking; c) intolerance of vaccinations; of the Insured or one of his/her family member, the trip partner if insured and included in the same documents, the business partner /co-owner of the com- pany or f irm of the Insured or his/her direct superior; d) material damages to the residence as a result of natural disasters or theft, which require the presence of the insured; e) dismissal or suspension from employment (temporary layoff, redundancy) of the Insured or his/her new recruitment; f) submission of a request for divorce by the spouse of the Insured; g) conv ocation of the Insured for military/civilian service; h) conv ocation of the Insured before the competent authorities for the adoption of minors; i) appointment of the Insured to jury service or to give evidence to the judicial authorities; j) thef t of the documents of the Insured which are essential for travel abroad if it is impossible for them t o be re - c re at ed bef ore the planned departure date; k) the Insured cannot reach the place of departure of the trip following: - an accident to the means of transport during the journey to the place of departure of the flight; - adv erse weather conditions occurring in the place of residence; l) quarantine of the Insured or a traveling companion before the trip by order or other requirement of a government or public author i- ty , based on their suspicion that the Insured or a traveling companion, specifically, have been exposed to a contagious disea se (includ- ing an epidemic or a pandemic disease such as COVID-19). This does not include any quarantine that applies generally or broadly t o some or all of a population or geographical area, or that applies based on where the person is traveling to, from or through. It is noted that adverse weather conditions are understood to be natural phenomena that do not have the catastrophic conseque nces characteristic of t he phenomena expressly provided at Art. 6. Exclusions Common to all Warranties – lett. g). ALLIANZ TRAVEL reimburses the penalty or modification costs charged: • to the Insured • to all his f amily members • to a trav ▇▇▇▇▇▇ companion prov ided that they are insured and registered on the same case.
