Workplace Accident definition

Workplace Accident means an occurrence arising out of, or in the course of, work, which results in death or injury.
Workplace Accident means any injury or death caused by the work or during the work process.

Examples of Workplace Accident in a sentence

  • The employer will extend their cover of Workplace Accident Make up pay from the current Award entitlement to a period of 39 weeks.

  • An employee concerned about the design, structure or safety of their work area may, with or without the UNION, petition their supervisor for an investigation of the work area to determine compliance with Hennepin Healthcare System A Workplace Accident and Injury Reduction (AWAIR) Program Policy and/or general safety compliance (i.e. OSHA etc.) whichever may apply.

  • The Employer will provide to the Union and each team member a copy of the current information booklet/sheet for benefits provided under the Employers’ Workplace Accident Insurance Plan.

  • Student employees hired for vacation leaves, sick leaves, Workplace Accident Insurance Benefit, LOA, work projects or excess work load may be terminated at the end of their work assignments.

  • The Employer will provide a copy of the Master Workplace Accident Insurance Plan to the Union upon request to a maximum of once per year of the Agreement.

  • The Employer agrees to provide workplace accident insurance coverage in accordance with the Workplace Accident Insurance Plan booklet to all of its Employees for the duration of this Agreement.

  • Employees shall report an Emergency, Workplace Accident or Injury promptly to their supervisor.

  • Workplace Accident make up pay will be included for the purposes of calculating employer superannuation contributions.

  • Should the Employer choose not the obtain Workplace Accident and Injury Insurance through WSIB the Employer will obtain Workplace Accident and Injury Insurance with consistent to the Ontario Human Rights Code, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.

  • The employee shall not receive bereavement pay when she is also on a medical leave, whether Workplace Accident Insurance or not; pregnancy leave or any other leave of absence.
