Whistleblower Activity definition

Whistleblower Activity means the kind of activity protected under a federal or state whistleblower statute or any regulation promulgated thereunder, regardless of whether or not such activity is done by an Employee protected under such statute or regulation. WRONGFUL ACT Wrongful Act has the meanings set forth below.
Whistleblower Activity means activity protected by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 § 806, Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010 § 922, or similar domestic or foreign law.
Whistleblower Activity means any activity specified in 18 U.S.C. 1514A(a) other than the activity of “filing or causing to be filed” any proceeding under 18 U.S.C. 1514A(a)(2) and any other activity specified in 18 U.S.C. 1514A(a)(2).

  • Public nuisance means a building that is a menace to the public health, welfare, or safety, or that is structurally unsafe, unsanitary, or not provided with adequate safe egress, or that constitutes a fire hazard, or is otherwise dangerous to human life, or that in relation to the existing use constitutes a hazard to the public health, welfare, or safety by reason of inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence, or abandonment. “Public nuisance” includes buildings with blighting characteristics as defined by Iowa Code section 403.2.

  • Intimidating, threatening, abusive, or harming conduct means, but is not limited to, conduct that does the following:

  • Agricultural activity means the production, rearing or growing of agricultural products including harvesting, milking, breeding animals and keeping animals for farming purposes, or maintaining the land in good agricultural and environmental condition as estab­ lished in Article 6;

  • Curricular activity means an activity, course, or program that is:

  • Workplace Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against a worker in a workplace that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome”. Ref: Occupational Health and Safety Act, Sec. 1 (1). The employee rights set out above shall be interpreted within the context of the Ontario Human Rights Code.
