Underlying Currency Pair Fixing Date means each of the dates specified as such in the relevant Pricing Supplement or, if such date is not an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day the immediate following day that is an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day, or if such date is not specified in the relevant Pricing Supplement, the fifth Underlying Currency Pair Business Day prior to the relevant Interest Payment Date, Maturity Date or other date on which the relevant payment falls due (as applicable);.
Underlying Currency Pair Fixing Date means each of the dates specified as such in the relevant Final Terms or, if such date is not an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day the immediately following day that is an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day, or if such date is not specified in the relevant Final Terms, the fifth Underlying Currency Pair Business Day prior to the relevant Interest Payment Date, Maturity Date or other date on which the relevant payment falls due (as applicable) (and for these purposes a day shall be deemed to be an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day if the market was not aware of it not being an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day (by means of a public announcement or by reference to other publicly available information) on the Underlying Currency Pair Fixing Date notwithstanding it subsequently ceases to be an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day for any reason or the market subsequently becomes aware that it was not an Underlying Currency Pair Business Day);

  • Underlying Currency means the Underlying Currency as specified in § 2 of the Product and Underlying Data.

A Currency Pair consists of two currencies (the Quote Currency and the Base Currency) and shows how much of the Quote currency is needed to purchase one unit of the Base Currency.

  • Alternate Currency Loan means any Loan denominated in an Alternate Currency.

  • RMB Currency Events means any one of RMB Illiquidity, RMB Non-Transferability and RMB Inconvertibility;

  • Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loan means a Loan that bears interest at a rate based on the definition of “Alternative Currency Daily Rate.” All Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loans must be denominated in an Alternative Currency.

  • Applicable Currency means as to any particular payment or Loan, Dollars or the Alternative Currency in which such payment or Loan is denominated or is payable.

  • Overnight Foreign Currency Rate means, for any amount payable in a Foreign Currency, the rate of interest per annum as determined by the Administrative Agent at which overnight or weekend deposits in the relevant currency (or if such amount due remains unpaid for more than three (3) Business Days, then for such other period of time as the Administrative Agent may elect) for delivery in immediately available and freely transferable funds would be offered by the Administrative Agent to major banks in the interbank market upon request of such major banks for the relevant currency as determined above and in an amount comparable to the unpaid principal amount of the related Credit Event, plus any taxes, levies, imposts, duties, deductions, charges or withholdings imposed upon, or charged to, the Administrative Agent by any relevant correspondent bank in respect of such amount in such relevant currency.

  • Alternative Currency Loan means an Alternative Currency Daily Rate Loan or an Alternative Currency Term Rate Loan, as applicable.

  • Available Currency means Dollars.

  • Designated LIBOR Currency means the currency specified on the face hereof as to which LIBOR shall be calculated or, if no such currency is specified on the face hereof, United States dollars.

  • Permitted Currency means (1) the legal tender of any Group of 7 country (or any country that becomes a member of the Group of 7 if such Group of 7 expands its membership) or (2) the legal tender of any country which, as of the date of such change, is a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and has a local currency long-term debt rating of either AAA or higher assigned to it by Standard & Poor's, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. or any successor to the rating business thereof, Aaa or higher assigned to it by Moody's Investors Service, Inc. or any successor to the rating business thereof or AAA or higher assigned to it by Fitch Ratings or any successor to the rating business thereof;

  • Alternate Currency means (i) with respect to any Letter of Credit, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pound Sterling, Swiss Francs, Mexican Pesos, Australian Dollars and any other currency other than Dollars as may be acceptable to the Administrative Agent and the Issuing Bank with respect thereto in their sole discretion and (ii) with respect to any Loan, any currency other than Dollars that is approved in accordance with Section 1.05.

  • Reset Interest Period means each period from (and including) the First Call Date or any Reset Date and ending on (but excluding) the next Reset Date;

  • Interest Period means the period beginning on (and including) the Interest Commencement Date and ending on (but excluding) the first Interest Payment Date and each successive period beginning on (and including) an Interest Payment Date and ending on (but excluding) the next succeeding Interest Payment Date.

  • Foreign Currency Loan means any Loan denominated in a Foreign Currency.

  • Approved Currency means each of Dollars and each Alternate Currency.

  • Domestic Currency means the currency specified as such and any successor currency. In no event shall Domestic Currency include any successor currency if such successor currency is the lawful currency of any of Canada, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom or the United States of America or the euro (or any successor currency to any such currency).
