UN WOMEN definition

  • The NGO shall indemnify, hold and save harmless, and defend at its own expense, UN WOMEN, its officials and persons performing services for UN WOMEN, from and against all suits, claims, demands and liability of any nature and kind, including their cost and expenses, arising out of the acts or omissions of the NGO or its employees or persons hired for the management of the present Agreement and the Project.

  • The Income shall be reflected in a revised Project Budget and Work Plan and recorded as accrued income to UN WOMEN unless otherwise agreed between the Parties.

  • Women s or children's institution" means an institution, whether called an orphanage or a home for neglected women or children or a widow's home or an institution called by any other name, which is established and maintained for the reception and care of women or children.

  • Occupational therapist means an individual who is licensed by a state to practice occupational therapy.

  • Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Non-Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Shift Worker means a worker who is not a day worker as defined.

  • Apprenticeable occupation means an occupation approved for apprenticeship by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.

  • Contractor means the individual or entity, that has entered into this contract with the Commonwealth.

  • Physiotherapist means a person who is a) duly registered with the Supplementary Medical Professions Council of Hong Kong pursuant to the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance (Cap. 359 of the Laws of Hong Kong) or in relation to jurisdictions outside of Hong Kong, a body of equivalent standing; and b) legally authorised for practising physiotherapy in the locality where the treatment is provided to an Insured, but in no circumstance shall include the Insured, the Policyholder, an insurance intermediary or an employer, employee, Immediate Family Member or business partner(s) of the Policyholder and/or the Insured(s).
