Team Decision Making definition

Team Decision Making or “TDM” – is a process utilizing a multi-disciplinary assessment and team approach in working with children and their families.
Team Decision Making or “TDM” means when an emergency removal of a child has occurred or the removal of a child is being considered, a TDM Meeting is held. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the child’s safety and where they will live.

Examples of Team Decision Making in a sentence

  • Develops and reviews the visit plan with the family at the shelter care hearing, Family Team Decision Making meeting, case conference or other shared planning meeting.
