Sensitive Matter definition

Sensitive Matter refers to an operation or deployment where there is an expectation of a higher obligation of confidentiality due to its circumstances including the factual background, the modus operandi, the policing intelligence and/or the parties involved. The disclosure of a ‘Sensitive’ matter is likely to adversely impact on the operational efficiency of the MPS or lead to a loss of confidence in the integrity of its officers or personnel.

Examples of Sensitive Matter in a sentence

  • Specifically the Company notes that Messrs Morgan Hart and Mark Clements will not be involved in the consideration or negotiation on behalf of Bullseye of any agreement the Company enters into with Emerald (Sensitive Matter).

  • Further Messrs Morgan Hart and Mark Clements will not be present at a Company Board meeting or committee meeting (or any relevant part of such meeting) when a Sensitive Matter is being considered and will not vote on a Sensitive Matter.

  • For any contractor personnel conducting Intelligence or Intelligence-related activities or supporting those efforts under Department of Defense authorities shall report any Questionable Intelligence Activity (QIA), Significant, or Highly Sensitive Matter (S/HSM) to the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command Intelligence Oversight Program Manager or Senior Intelligence Officer.

  • Where an item on the agenda involves a Sensitive Matter, as described in section 3.1.4, or may introduce a risk of non-compliance with Competition Law or this Policy, the Chair will have the responsibility to either ensure the item is removed from the agenda or seek legal counsel to limit the scope of the discussion as required to remain compliant.

  • Any dispute regarding any Sensitive Matter shall be resolved in accordance with Section 8.4(c).

  • A nominee director will only receive access if the full Board is required by law to determine a Sensitive Matter, but a nominee director may receive ongoing progress reports in respect of a Sensitive Matter (with any sensitive information removed) to the extent required to enable the nominee director to comply with their directors’ duties to the Company.

  • An AMC nominee director will not be provided with any sensitive information relating to a Sensitive Matter including (but not limited to) agendas, papers and minutes, drafts of documents prepared by the Company or third parties, draft or final contracts or other legal or commercial documents and any legal, commercial, financial or other advice provided to the Board or Board committee in relation to a Sensitive Matter.

Related to Sensitive Matter

  • Collaborative matter means a dispute, transaction, claim, problem, or issue for resolution, including a dispute, claim, or issue in a proceeding, that is described in a collaborative law participation agreement and arises under the family or domestic relations law of this state, including any of the following:

  • Sensitive Data means a category of personal data that includes:

  • Environmentally Sensitive Material means oil, oil products and any other substance (including any chemical, gas or other hazardous or noxious substance) which is (or is capable of being or becoming) polluting, toxic or hazardous;

  • Competitively Sensitive Information means non-public information and data specific to a utility customer which the utility acquired or developed in the course of its provision of utility services. This includes, without limitation, information about which customers have or have not chosen to opt out of community choice aggregation service. (See D.97-12-088, App. A, Part I.D.)

  • sensitive area means any of the following—

  • DXC Sensitive Information means DXC Confidential Information, Intellectual Property, PHI, DXC Customer data, and Personal Information.

  • Sensitive Information means controlled unclassified information of a commercial, financial, proprietary, or privileged nature. The term includes technical data and computer software, but does not include information that is lawfully, publicly available without restriction.

  • Sensitive property means property potentially dangerous to the public safety or security if stolen, lost, or misplaced, or that shall be subject to exceptional physical security, protection, control, and accountability. Examples include weapons, ammunition, explosives, controlled substances, radioactive materials, hazardous materials or wastes, or precious metals.

  • Sensitive Services means those services that (i) require access to Customer/Consumer Information, (ii) relate to the State’s computer networks, information systems, databases or secure facilities under circumstances that would permit modifications to such systems, or (iii) involve unsupervised access to secure facilities (“Sensitive Services”).

  • Contractor Commercially Sensitive Information means the information listed in the Contractor Commercial Sensitive Information Annex to the Contract being information notified by the Contractor to the Authority which is acknowledged by the Authority as being commercially sensitive information.

  • Safety-sensitive position means a job, including any supervisory or management position, in which an impairment caused by drug or alcohol usage would threaten the health or safety of any person.

  • Commercially Sensitive Information means the Information (i) listed in the Commercially Sensitive Information Schedule; or (ii) notified to the Authority in writing (prior to the commencement of this Contract) which has been clearly marked as Commercially Sensitive Information comprised of information:

  • Price Sensitive Information means any information which relates, directly or indirectly, to a company and which if published is likely to materially affect the price of securities of the company.

  • Commercially Sensitive Information Schedule means the Schedule containing a list of the Commercially Sensitive Information.

  • Safety-sensitive function means all time from the time a driver begins to work or is required to be in readiness to work until the time he/she is relieved from work and all responsibility for performing work.

  • Sensitive Personal Data * means personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data, data concerning health, an individual’s sex life or sexual orientation and an individual’s criminal convictions.

  • Environmentally sensitive area means any area in which plant or animal life or their habitats are either rare or especially valuable because of their special nature or role in an ecosystem and which could be easily disturbed or degraded by human activities and developments.

  • Fugitive emission means an emission to air from the permitted installation that is not controlled by an emission limit imposed by a condition of this Permit.

  • Fugitive emissions means those emissions which could not reasonably pass through a stack, chimney, vent, or other functionally equivalent opening.

  • Explosive material means any chemical compound, mixture, or device which produces a substantial instantaneous release of gas and heat spontaneously or by contact with sparks or flame.

  • Particulate Matter (PM means the particles found in the exhaust of CI engines, which may agglomerate and adsorb other species to form structures of complex physical and chemical properties.
