Sensitive Services means those services provided hereunder that (i) require access to customer information; (ii) related to a Fund’s computer networks, information systems, databases or secure facilities under circumstances that would permit modifications to such systems; or (iii) involve primarily unsupervised access to secure facilities.

Sensitive Services means all health care services related to mental or behavioral health, sexual and reproductive health, sexually transmitted infections, substance use disorder, gender affirming care, and intimate partner violence, and includes services described in Sections 6924, 6925, 6926, 6927, 6928, 6929, and 6930 of the Family Code, and Sections 121020 and 124260 of the Health and Safety Code, obtained by a patient at or above the minimum age specified for consenting to the service specified in the section.

• Prior authorization is not required for initial referrals to Physicians practicing a medical specialty as defined by the American Board of Medical Specialties, Emergency Services, and Family Planning Services or for access to Sensitive Services and basic prenatal care.

• If a County Associate supplies Sensitive Services, including Family Planning Services, County shall comply with State confidentiality laws, regulations and other requirements relating to Members’ Family Planning information and records and County’s Associate acknowledges that he or she is solely responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with such confidentiality requirements.
