Research Project IP definition

Research Project IP means all Intellectual Property developed during the Research Project excluding Placement IP and copyright in the Student’s Thesis.
Research Project IP means any Intellectual Property created, invented or discovered in carrying out the Research Project including the Research Proj ect Results but does not include Background IP or copyright in a student’s thesis or other material produced by him/her for the purpose of assessment towards his/her degree;
Research Project IP means any Intellectual Property developed in the course of providing the research services under clause 4, excluding Infringing Improvements.

Examples of Research Project IP in a sentence

  • All registration of Research Project IP will be in the Owner's name and at its own cost.

  • The Student’s consent extends to any such acts or omissions made by any assignee, licensee or other third party to whom the Industry Partner or the University grants rights to the Research Project IP.

  • The Industry Partner and the University will comply with the Copyright ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, as amended from time to time, in relation to the Student’s Moral Rights in subject matter authored by the Student and comprised in the Research Project IP.

  • The Industry Partner will not prevent or otherwise inhibit the Student from presenting the Student’s Thesis to the University for examination purposes provided appropriate steps are taken as detailed below to ensure the confidentiality of Confidential Information and the preservation of the opportunity to protect the Research Project IP of the University, or the Industry Partner.

  • COEP Tech shall retain all rights, title, and interest in and to any Research Project IP generated solely by COEP Tech faculty or students (“University Project IP”) without the use of any XYZ Confidential Information.

  • A party may, acting reasonably and by notice to the other parties, delay for up to a maximum of 12 months any licence to Research Project IP granted under this agreement (excluding the licence in clause 12.4(a)) until appropriate Intellectual Property protection is obtained for that Research Project IP.

  • An Owner must not Transfer its Research Project IP, or grant any licence or other rights in respect of its Research Project IP, in any way inconsistent with the licences granted under clauses 12.4 and 13.3.

  • NOTRE DAME agrees to cause patent applications to be filed and prosecuted in its name at SPONSOR'S request and expense on inventions or discoveries conceived and reduced to practice in the course of the Research ("Project IP").

  • Subject to clause 13.3, any Alliance Member may Commercialise Research Project IP provided that it obtains the approval of the National Research Management Committee and complies with this agreement and any applicable Project Order regarding Commercialisation.

  • Nothing in this agreement prevents an Owner from taking action to protect, defend or enforce its rights in relation to its Research Project IP without reference to the other parties.

Related to Research Project IP

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

  • Project IP means any Intellectual Property created, invented or discovered in carrying out the Project including in respect of the Project Results but does not include Background IP or copyright in a Student’s thesis or other material produced by him/her for the purpose of assessment towards his/her degree.

  • Project IPR means all Intellectual Property Rights that arise or are obtained or developed by either party, or by a contractor on behalf of either party, in respect of the Deliverables in the course of or in connection with the Project;

  • Research Program has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • Research Program Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.
