Registered beds definition

Registered beds means the total number of hospital beds registered with the department of health, as reported in the most recent "directory of registered hospitals" published by the department of health.
Registered beds means the number of beds for individuals for whom residential care may be provided at the relevant Property, based on the total number of rooms, and pursuant to the relevant registration under theCare Standards Act 2000 (for Properties in England and Wales), the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (for Properties in Scotland) and the Registered Homes (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 (for Properties in Northern Ireland), as applicable.
