Registered Name definition

Registered Name refers to a domain name within the domain of the Registry TLD, whether consisting of two or more (e.g., xxxx.xxxxx.xxxx) levels, about which VNDS or an affiliate engaged in providing registry services maintains data in a registry database, arranges for such maintenance, or derives revenue from such maintenance. A name in a registry database may be a Registered Name even though it does not appear in a TLD zone file (e.g., a registered but inactive name).

Registered Name means either a name that is registered as "doing business as" at the county clerk's office in the county in which the producer or processor resides or that is registered with this state as a legal entity registered to do business within this state under an assumed name. Registered name includes, but is not limited to, incorporations, corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, and similar entities.

• Registrar shall not provide identical Registrar- generated authorization <authinfo> codes for domain names registered by different Registered Name Holders with the same Registrar.

• During the term of this Agreement, Verisign will provide reasonable telephone, web based and e-mail customer service support to Registrar, not Registered Name Holder or prospective customers of Registrar, for nontechnical issues solely relating to the System and its operation.
