State of emergency means a natural or man-made disaster or emergency for which a state of emergency has been declared by the President of the United States or the Governor, or for which a state of emergency has been declared by a municipal emergency management coordinator.
Rules of order and procedure means a set of rules that govern and prescribe in a public meeting:
State of Registry means, in respect of an aircraft, the State on the national register of which an aircraft is entered or the State of location of the common mark registering authority maintaining the aircraft register.
State of Registration means, in relation to an Aircraft at any time, the country or state on whose national register such Aircraft is registered at that time under the laws of such country or state in accordance with the applicable provisions of any Lease relating to such Aircraft or, in the absence of any such provisions, Applicable Law.
County Executive means the County Executive of the County.
Arbitration Board has the meaning set forth in Section 9.10.
Voluntary arbitration means the procedure whereby parties involved in a labor dispute
Arbitration organization means an association, agency, board, commission, or other entity that is neutral and initiates, sponsors, or administers an arbitration proceeding or is involved in the appointment of an arbitrator.
County board means a county board of developmental disabilities.
Arbitration Rules means the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures.
Probation or parole means any kind of supervision or conditional release of juveniles authorized under the laws of the compacting states.
Commonwealth Citizen means any person who has the status of a Commonwealth citizen under the British Nationality Act 1981, not covered by the ‘UK Nationality’ definition above. This includes British Dependent Territories citizens (other than Gibraltarians), British Overseas citizens, and from 1986 those persons in the category British National (Overseas).
Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include modifications to or any re-enactment thereof, as in force from time to time;
Practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine means the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of
State of Texas Textravel means the State Travel Management Program through the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts website and Texas Administrative Code, Title 34, Part 1, Chapter 5, Subchapter C, Section 5.22, relative to travel reimbursements under this Contract, if any.
Mediation Rules As defined in Section 2.03(h)(i).
UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules means the arbitration rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
Appropriate office of the State employment service system means the local office of the federal-state national system or public employment offices with assigned responsibility for serving the area where the employment opening is to be filled, including the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
rules of court means Rules of Court made under this Act and includes forms;
Victim of domestic violence means a person protected under this act and shall include any person who is 18 years of age or older or who is an emancipated minor and who has been subjected to domestic violence by a spouse, former spouse, or any other person who is a present or former household member. "Victim of domestic violence" also includes any person, regardless of age, who has been subjected to domestic violence by a person with whom the victim has a child in common, or with whom the victim anticipates having a child in common, if one of the parties is pregnant. "Victim of domestic violence" also includes any person who has been subjected to domestic violence by a person with whom the victim has had a dating relationship.

Employment Practices Wrongful Act means any actual or alleged:
In this Commonwealth or "in the Commonwealth" means within the limits of the Commonwealth
Commonwealth Minister means the local Minister within the meaning of the gas pipelines access legislation of the Commonwealth;
Initiating state means a state in which a proceeding pursuant to this or a substantially similar reciprocal law is commenced.
County Auditor means the Greenville County Auditor, or the person holding any successor office of the County.
