Predecessor Bonds definition

Predecessor Bonds. With respect to any particular Bond, every previous Bond evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Bond authenticated and delivered under Section 2.07 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond.

Predecessor Bonds of any particular Bond means every previous Bond evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond, and for purposes of this definition, any Bond authenticated and delivered under Section 2.07 hereof in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond.

Predecessor Bonds. With respect to any particular Bond, every previous Bond evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Bond authenticated and delivered under Section 2.06 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond (or a mutilated Bond surrendered to the Trustee) shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond (or a mutilated Bond surrendered to the Trustee).

Examples of Predecessor Bonds in a sentence

• Any such waiver by the Holder, at the time of the giving thereof, of this Bond (or any one or more Predecessor Bonds) shall bind the Holder of every Bond issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof, whether or not notation of such consent or waiver is made upon such Bond.

• Notice of the proposed payment of such Defaulted Interest and the special record date therefor having been mailed as aforesaid, such Defaulted Interest shall be paid to the Persons in whose names such Bonds (or their respective Predecessor Bonds) are registered on such special record date.

• The Trustee may elect to make payment of any Defaulted Interest on the fully registered Bonds of any series to the persons in whose names such Bonds (or their respective Predecessor Bonds) are registered at the close of business on a Special Record Date for the payment of such Defaulted Interest, which shall be fixed in the following manner.

• Notice of the proposed payment of such Defaulted Interest and the Special Record Date therefor having been mailed as aforesaid, such Defaulted Interest shall be paid to the persons in whose names the Bonds (or their respective Predecessor Bonds) are registered on such Special Record Date and shall no longer be payable pursuant to the following Subsection B.

• The interest installment on any Bond that is payable, and is punctually paid or duly provided for, on any Interest Payment Date shall be paid to the Person in whose name said Xxxx (or one or more Predecessor Bonds) is registered at the close of business on the Record Date for such interest installment.

More Definitions of Predecessor Bonds

Predecessor Bonds. With respect to any particular Bond of a Series and Class, every previous Bond of that Series and Class evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Bond of a Series authenticated and delivered under Section 2.8 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond of the same Series shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond.

Predecessor Bonds. With respect to any particular Bond of a Class, every previous Bond of that Class evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Bond; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Bond authenticated and delivered under Section 2.08 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Bond shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Bond.

Predecessor Bonds of any particular Security means every previous Security evidencing all or a portion of the same obligation as that evidenced by such particular Security (and, for the purposes of this definition, any mutilated, lost, destroyed, or stolen Security for which a replacement Security has been registered and delivered in lieu thereof pursuant to Section 4.06 hereof and the Order).
