Within 14 days of receipt of a Replacement Bond, the Principal shall release the Contractor and the surety from their liability under the previous bond.
Where the Contractor is required to provide a Replacement Bond, the Principal will not be liable to make any further payments under the Contract until the Contractor has delivered the Replacement Bond to the Principal.
Any such Replacement Bond shall be executed and authenticated as provided in this Indenture.
The Department reserves the right to require additional bonding from the Operator through an amendment to this Blanket Bond or a Replacement Bond, as provided by law, which additional bonding shall be a supplement to and augment the bond liability provided herein.
