Examples of Poisons List in a sentence
A permit under subregulation (1) authorises the person to whom it is issued to purchase from a licensed manufacturing chemist or a licensed wholesale chemist any of the substances specified in Schedule 1, 2, 3 or 4 to the Poisons List in such quantities and on such conditions, limitations and restrictions as the Minister may determine and as may be specified in the permit for use by the person for industrial, educational, advisory or research purposes.
Where, at any premises, a person has possession, custody or control of, for sale or supply, a substance specified in Schedule 7 of the Poisons List, the person must keep the substance in a part of the premises that is partitioned off or otherwise separated from any part of the premises that is readily accessible to the public.
A reference in these regulations to a substance by name followed, in parentheses, by a capital letter “S” and a number is a reference to that substance when included in the correspondingly numbered Schedule to the Poisons List.
The Minister, by order, may adopt Part 4 of the Uniform Standard, as amended from time to time, as the Poisons List for the purposes of this Act.
A drug of addiction is a substance specified in Schedule Eight of the Poisons List proclaimed under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966.
