Examples of Permanent Presence in a sentence

  • In any Category for which you are required to provide a Permanent Presence, the majority of services authorised for that Category under any Schedule issued to that Office must be accessed from that Office.

  • Outreach Services under Paragraphs 2.38 to 2.39 may not be taken into account in satisfying the requirements for Permanent Presence.

  • Applicants will therefore be required to have an Office in the Procurement Area that is either a Permanent Presence or a Part Time Presence.

  • For the purposes of the Mental Health Category Permanent Presence does not include a requirement that the majority of Mental Health services are accessed at the Office.

  • If a Procurement Area is divided into two or more Access Points, your Schedule may specify that you need only maintain a Permanent Presence in one Access Point and a Part Time Presence in the other Access Points comprising the larger Procurement Area.

  • To provide a Permanent Presence you must have a permanent (i.e. continuously occupied) Office in the Procurement Area.


More Definitions of Permanent Presence

Permanent Presence means a presence that is to be treated in the same way as a branch, even where that presence does not take the form of a branch, but consists merely of an office managed by the own staff of the undertaking or by a person who is independent but has permanent authority to act for the undertaking as an agency would;

  • Urgent medical condition means a condition that satisfies either of the following:

  • Adverse Environmental Condition means (i) the existence or the continuation of the existence, of an Environmental Contamination (including, without limitation, a sudden or non-sudden accidental or non-accidental Environmental Contamination), of, or exposure to, any substance, chemical, material, pollutant, Hazardous Substance, odor or audible noise or other release or emission in, into or onto the environment (including without limitation, the air, ground, water or any surface) at, in, by, from or related to any Equipment, (ii) the environmental aspect of the transportation, storage, treatment or disposal of materials in connection with the operation of any Equipment, or (iii) the violation, or alleged violation, of any Environmental Law, permits or licenses of, by or from any governmental authority, agency or court relating to environmental matters connected with any of the Equipment.

  • Maintain Viable Presence means (i) the operation during the term of this Agreement of the facility or facilities for which the tax limitation is granted; and (ii) the Applicant’s maintenance of jobs and wages as required by the Act and as set forth in its Application.

  • Permanent Supportive Housing means voluntary, flexible supports to help individuals with psychiatric disabilities choose, get, and keep housing that is decent, safe, affordable, and integrated into the community. Tenants have access to an array of services that help them keep their housing, such as case management, assistance with daily activities, conflict resolution, and crisis response consistent with evidence-based practice standards published by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
