Permanent Supportive Housing means voluntary, flexible supports to help individuals with psychiatric disabilities choose, get, and keep housing that is decent, safe, affordable, and integrated into the community. Tenants have access to an array of services that help them keep their housing, such as case management, assistance with daily activities, conflict resolution, and crisis response consistent with evidence-based practice standards published by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Permanent Supportive Housing means one or more subsidized, leased dwelling units with no limit on length of stay that prioritizes people who need comprehensive support services to retain tenancy and utilizes admissions practices designed to use lower barriers to entry that would be typical for other subsidized or unsubsidized rental housing, especially related to rental history, criminal history, and personal behaviors. Permanent supportive housing is paired with on-site or off-site voluntary services designed to support a person living with a complex and disabling behavioral health or physical health condition who was experiencing homelessness or was at imminent risk of homelessness prior to moving into housing to retain their housing and be a successful tenant in a housing arrangement, improve the resident’s health status, and connect the resident of the housing with community-based health care, treatment, or employment services. Permanent supportive housing is subject to all of the rights and responsibilities defined in chapter 59.18 RCW.
Permanent Supportive Housing means a Project with a preference or restriction for Supportive Housing Populations that includes supportive services that helps people live stable, successful lives. The Housing Inventory Chart (HIC) is a required report by HUD that counts every bed available (Permanent Supportive Housing, Hotel/Motel, Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing and Safe Haven) in the HHA.
Forty-five (45) of the units are occupied by formerly chronically homeless individuals at or below 30% Area Median Income(AMI), using the Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) model of care.

Permanent Supportive Housing means affordable permanent independent rental housing for persons who are homeless or have disabilities. Permanent Supportive Housing means affordable rental housing leased to the focus households for continued occupancy with an indefinite length of stay as long as the tenant complies with lease requirements. The lease must be a minimum of 7 months and have no limits on length of tenancy related to the provision or participation in supportive services. Permanent Supportive Housing shall facilitate and promote activities of daily living, access to community-based services, and inclusion in the general community. Permanent Supportive Housing shall strive to meet the needs and preferences of the focus households.
Permanent Supportive Housing means housing that combines and links permanent, affordable housing with flexible, voluntary support services designed to help tenants previously experiencing homelessness or with disabilities or other special needs stay housed and build the necessary skills to live as independently as possible.
