NOx allowance deduction or deduct NOx allowances means the permanent withdrawal of NOx allowances by the Administrator from a NOx Allowance Tracking System compliance account or overdraft account to account for the number of tons of NOx emissions from a NOx Budget unit for a control period, determined in accordance with sections 41.10 and 41.11, or for any other allowance surrender obligation under this regulation.

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.
