Mobile Telephone Switching Office definition

Mobile Telephone Switching Office or "MTSO" means an automatic system which constitutes the interfaces for user traffic between a cellular network and other public switched networks or other mobile telephone switching offices within the same network or a central control center for mobile telephone switching centers.
