Appeals Tribunal or “AT” means the Body responsible for hearing and determining appeals set out in section 9;
Appeals Panel means a panel appointed by the Chief Compliance Officer pursuant to Rule 620.
Appeal Tribunal means the all-citizen Tribunal duly appointed by Council to conduct hearings under this By-law; (191-08)
Division of hearings and appeals means the division of hearings and appeals in the department of administration.
Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.
Appeals Board means the commissioners and deputy commissioners of the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board acting en banc, in panels, or individually.
Appeal Panel means a panel comprised of a chair and two individuals appointed by the Board to consider appeals under Chapter 7.
Medical evaluation means the process of assessing an individual's health status that includes a medical history and a physical examination of an individual conducted by a licensed medical practitioner operating within the scope of his license.
Appeals Committee means a Committee or Tribunal duly appointed by by-law to conduct hearings under this By-law;
Qualified mental health professional means a licensed medical practitioner or any other person meeting the qualifications specified in OAR 309-019-0125.
Primary care physician means a physician who is a family
Appeal Committee means the appeal committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(3)(a);
Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;
Emergency medical care provider means an individual who has been trained to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the first responder, EMT-basic, EMT-intermediate, EMT-paramedic, paramedic specialist or other certification levels recognized by the department before 1984 and who has been issued a certificate by the department.
Designated mental health professional means a mental health
Mental health professional means a psychiatrist,
Medical Board means the North Carolina Medical Board.
Mental health provider means a health care provider or a health care facility authorized by state law to provide mental health services.
Medical assessment means an assessment of a patient’s medical condition secured by our Assistance Company working in conjunction with the Medical Evacuation Provider’s medical director and in collaboration with the attending physician. The Assistance Company in collaboration with the Medical Evacuation Provider, will utilize the assessment to determine at its sole discretion whether a Plan Holder is fit to fly; the most appropriate means to provide medical evacuation; the medical personnel who will be accompanying the patient on the transport; and to confirm the medical facility closest to one’s home can meet their medical needs. If the patient’s medical facility of choice is unable to provide the high level of medical care required by the patient, arrangements will be made to transport the patient to the appropriate medical facility closest to their home, or closest to patient's preferred medical facility in the US when possible.
Political action committee or “PAC” means an organization whose purpose is to solicit and make Political Contributions.
Appeal authority means the executive authority of the municipality or any other body or institution outside of the municipality authorised by that municipality to assume the obligations of an appeal authority for purposes of appeals lodged in terms of the Act;
Medical cannabis dispensary means an organization issued a
Medical cannabis means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
Joint Commercialization Committee or “JCC” has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a).
Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.
