Local Unit Representative definition

Local Unit Representative means a Union member and Employee of the Employer who has been appointed by the Local Unit.
Local Unit Representative means a Union member and Employee of CASA Mental Health who has been appointed by the Local Unit to coordinate the exchange of critical local information with HSAA, performing member orientations, member engagement and other duties set out by the Union.
Local Unit Representative may mean a local unit chair, or two (2) co-chairs, group representatives and/or other positions as determined by the local unit. Local Unit Representatives shall form the local unit executive. The role of the local unit executive is to advocate for and engage their members. Local unit representatives are elected by members of the local unit. Unless pre-authorized by the Employer, the Local Unit Representatives shall not conduct union business while on duty nor shall they conduct union business in such a manner that it interferes with any Employee performing their employment duties.‌

  • Where the representative of the Union is a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or Local Unit Representative there shall be no loss of pay for time spent at the presentation.

  • A Local Unit Representative shall promptly remove all outdated materials from the bulletin board.

  • The Local Unit Representative shall not be recognized by the Hospital until the Union has given the Hospital written notice of the selection which would occur within seven (7) days from date of selection.

  • At future meetings of the Hospital’s advisory Benefits Committee, a Local Unit Representative shall also be a member, along with other employees and Hospital Administration.

  • Should the designated Nurse Executive or designee exercise this option, she/he shall give written notice of the extension on or before completion of the ninety (90) day probationary period to the nurse involved, the Local Unit Representative and WSNA stating the reason(s) for the extension.

  • If the issue needs immediate resolution, the nurse, who may be accompanied by a Local Unit Representative or designee, will bring the written concerns to Human Resources.

  • In matters of discipline or potential discipline including investigative discussions, counseling, warnings, reprimand, suspension and termination, the nurse shall be given the right to have an Association representative or Local Unit Representative present.

  • Partnership Representative has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(a).

  • Management Representative means an individual designated to hear grievances on behalf of the University.

  • District Representative means the Superintendent of the District, or any other person authorized by the Governing Board of the District to act on behalf of the District under or with respect to this Facilities Lease.

  • Project Representative means the individual(s), including but not limited to the Resident Engineer, to whom the Authority Representative has delegated Project responsibilities. If a Project Representative is appointed, the Project Representative represents the Authority Representative on the Project within the limits of that delegation with respect to any part of the Work.

  • Union Representative means a representative from the Union authorized by the Union to act on behalf of an Employee.
